Good friend of mine let me run his very nice 65 mustang in a autocross event last sunday.
During sign up I didn't think I'd be coming back, just was planning to enjoy my day and on to the next judging by the tiny low speed course. Well that all changed as soon as I got my first run in, I had a blast! Now I'm not sure if it was racing the clock or my friend that was such fun, or maybe all the drifting involved in trying to keep that beast on the track. Either way, shortly after getting home and finding out I won my class I was on the search for a car.
